Greetings and welcome to another installment of Tropical Homes‘ local news update! I hope everyone’s Father’s Day was an enjoyable experience, wherever you and dad find yourselves. For being in the midst of the rainy season, the area still has a good number of tourists and visitors, making the days filled with fun and the nights exciting and lively. Speaking of, the town is awake and people are celebrating this glorious country in many different ways.
What exactly is going on, what can you do to join in on the celebration? Then have a look below and see what’s going on, and find the event that best suits your mood.
- Restaurant Mar y Sol has once again returned its extremely popular Wednesday buffet! If you have not been to one of their themed buffet nights, I highly recommend it. Great location, great food, all you can eat with tip included for only $20. Be sure to show up before I do so that there is still food.
- The band Los Dos continues to play its live set every Saturday at 7pm at the Voodoo Lounge in Tamarindo. For more information, call 8370-3489.
- The company Pura Vida Ride is hosting its first annual stand-up paddle board contest on June 23rd at Playa Danta and the Las Catalinas development. Great location, great prizes, and great fun for the entire family, come and check this community event and cheer on your friends, or compete yourself!
- Costa Rica recently scored a Happy Planet Index of 64.0, making it #1 of all of the countries analyzed! What does this mean? Well, it shows that Costa Rica has a moderate ecological footprint, high life expectancy, and high levels of well-being. In short, living in Costa Rica is healthier and happier than any other country in the world; start living here today!
