Imagine a turquoise glowing river that winds through the lush and untouched tropical rainforest – this is Rio Celeste within the Tenorio National Park where we will take you on a beautiful (somewhat challenging) 2.5-3hr hike through the National Park to the origins of this beautiful river and to its famous waterfall (no swimming here)! The natural beauty of the mountain, rainforest and river is the focus of this hiking experience and of course there are also always great chances of spotting wildlife along the trails! After the hike we will get a well-deserved sit-down lunch before we head to the Llanos de Cortes waterfall to take a dip in its sand bottomed pool below.
