What a special day for Tropical Homes‘ weekly local news update, installment number 11! While today is not particularly special to Costa Ricans, they are happy to join all of the expats in the area with celebrating the 4th of July! Our rainy season looks unmistakably like summer, and hopefully the rain will stay away during this day of fireworks, festivities, and food.
Where to go and what to eat? Get ready for a 4th of July crawl to all of the amazing events that are happening in our area. Let’s take a look where to get started.
- The Happy Snapper Restaurant in Brasilito is having a 4th of July barbecue bash and fiesta. The special 4th menu includes corn on the cob, hamburgers, BBQ chicken, and pork ribs, of course with the normal menu as well. Bring your own lawn chairs and sun protection!
- Restaurant Mar y Sol is having is weekly all you can eat buffet again tonight, and in the spirit of the holiday, the theme is USA night. Come enjoy as much imported US beef, salad, french fries, baked beans, apple pie, and American beer as you can at a great location before you continue the nightly festivities. - Marie’s Restaurant in Flamingo is also celebrating with live music from the band Local Legend and amazing food specials. The specials, including hamburgers, hotdogs, corn on the cob, chicken, beans, and more, are served all day, while the music starts at 8pm. Call 2654-4136 to reserve your table today.
